Process
Once I identified the need for a ski and snowboard rack for our home in New Mexico, I immediately began the design process. I shopped for the lumber, choosing the best pieces, and made sure that I had the requisite tools and materials.

Here you can see that there are cut-outs to hold nine pairs of skis with their poles. Also, there are slots in the vertical frame that hold three snowboards. These will be lined with felt so as not to damage the equipment.

In under a month, I was able to create a functional piece of furniture that made getting up to the slopes as seamless as possible. I can also paint or stain this piece to match once the room is finished.
